This presentation will provide an “out of the box” look at diverse topics in the not-for-profit world as they relate to audit and tax reporting and concepts. The session will help you learn how an audit and tax team can work together to streamline the audit and tax process. Topics covered will include differences in GAAP v. tax reporting on the Form 990, unrelated business income identification, internal controls and Form 990 governance. Pertinent recommendations will be shared as they relate to best practices in these overlapping areas.
