Ms. Edelstein graduated, with distinction, from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She has worked in non-profit and government auditing for over 25 years.

Diane has been a partner at Maher Duessel since 2005. Diane serves as Single Audit specialist and is the designated audit partner responsible for quality controls required by our participation in the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center. Maher Duessel specializes in non-profit and governments and does over 100 Single Audits each year.

Diane speaks throughout the country on Non-profit accounting and auditing and Single Audit. She was member of the AICPA NPO Planning Conference Committee from 2012 - 2017. She is also a prior member of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center, Executive committee.

Diane currently serves on the AICPA Peer Review Board - GCA PMTF (Government and Compliance Audits Practice Monitoring Task Force) and is a prior member of the PICPA Professional Ethics Committee.
