James Meyer

Solution Specialist, Adaptive Insights

I began my career in public accounting working for a mid-sized CPA firm in Boston, MA. Much of my time was spent working as a manager with our Not-for-Profit group. As a mid-sized CPA firm, our differentiating factor was our close connection with our clients, and our consulting endeavors throughout the year. Our “off year-end” work primarily consisted of financial planning, analysis and reporting, and all of it was done in excel. I never thought that I would leave my public accounting role, but when I learned about the CPM space, I saw the power and value that it would bring to all of my clients. After some due diligence of the players in the industry, it was clear to me that I had to join Adaptive Insights due to the superior product and the growth and stability of the Company.

I currently reside in Austin, TX with my wife and golden retriever. I am involved in many organizations including Big Brother Big Sisters and American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, where I met my wife while in Boston.
