Amanda has more than 16 years of experience serving a variety of public sector industries who receive federal awards, in accounting, auditing, grant management, and consulting. She serves as the firm's single audit industry technical leader. In this role, she focuses on quality control, accounting, auditing, and providing technical assistance and training to staff and clients receiving federal assistance. Additionally, Amanda is a member of the firm's professional standards team and our OMB grant reform task force. In the Professional Standards role, Amanda is responsible for quality control and implementation of new standards, performs engagement quality reviews, and serves as a technical consultant to engagement teams. She has oversight responsibility for firm in-house training seminars and the development of federal program audit programs for firm-wide use. Because of her single audit expertise, Amanda frequently speaks on this topic at conferences sponsored by the AICPA, state CPA societies, and industry groups.
