Lee Klumpp is National Assurance Partner at BDO. Lee has over 25 years' experience serving the nonprofit and the government industries. Lee has been with BDO for 14 years, and prior to that worked with the Big 4.

Lee completed a two-year Fellowship with the Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) in Norwalk, CT. During Lee's fellowship, he led the FASB's project to reexamine existing standards for financial statement presentation by not-for-profit entities. He also focused on various FASB agenda projects and emerging practice issues that focused on nonprofit.

Lee specializes in working with the firm's nonprofit and government engagement teams and clients assisting them with various accounting, auditing, and financial reporting technical matters. Additionally, Lee works with the firm's clients are required to comply with the Single Audit Act because they receive federal and state funding. Lee is also a sought after speaker, speaking at conference and seminars on various topics and issues related to nonprofit and governmental organizations.
